In his current project “Dated Methods” the artist Rainer Junghanns documents and bonds the different time zones with the help of video-sequences.
A time-lapse camera is being tightly fastened on a container ship. This camera is going to document a shipping around the world. (in two stages).
The first stage took place in spring 2007 - starting from Rotterdam via Suez Canal to Auckland/NZ. In February 2009 the second tour starts from Singapore via Panama Canal.
GMT + 10 will be shown in by the Goethe Institut Rotterdam/NL and at “Rheinisches Landesmuseum Bonn”.
